Localization Manager

We are currently looking for a Localization Manager to join our flagship project Family Island

What you will be doing:

Your expertise:

- Ensure smooth localization processes for the company products: prepare and import/export texts, prepare context, work with CAT and repositories;
- Control terms and quality of localization, fix bugs;
- Liaise with vendors, consult translators, assign tasks to translators and editors, monitor expenditure;
- Liaise with game designers, script-writers, QA and other departments of the company;
- Take part in streamlining in-company localization processes and improving the product

What we feel is important to say:

- 2+ years' relevant experience as a Localization Manager, Translator/Editor (games, applications)
- Experience working with CAT-tools, proficiency with translation software;
- English language skills: Upper-Intermediate (B2)

Gross salary from 2300 EUR/month. We are open to discuss a different salary based on your competences and skills.

Nice to have:

- Computer linguistics, experience applying the logics of natural languages in text processing, or an interest in this field;
- Thai /German /Korean or another less common language, or a passion for linguistics and languages;
- Control of localization quality;
- Good sense of style, vast experience working as an editor or a copywriter;
- Experience writing UI/UX texts;
- Experience writing technical documentation in English;
- Experience working with Git, Jira, Confluence
